Gene Trowbridge, ESQ, CCIM

Gene Trowbridge is an accomplished legal professional and visionary educator, playing dual roles as the founding partner of Trowbridge Law Group LLP and the primary author for ExceedCE. Gene's profound understanding of complex legal matters, combined with his passion for knowledge dissemination, has made him an invaluable asset to ExceedCE's success.

Gene’s law practice concentrates on the syndication of commercial and investment real estate, through both debt and equity, representing over 550 clients who have raised over $5 billion in equity. His practice writes offerings under Rule 506(b) and 506(c), of Regulation D.

As former syndicator, who for ten years raised investor capital through the broker dealer community, he is able to communicate with his clients on both the technical and the practical aspects of state and federal securities laws.

As a long time CCIM and CCIM Senior Instructor, Gene has won numerous awards for his teaching ability. His book “It’s a Whole New Business!” is really a “how to” manual on real estate syndication.

Gene conducts highly regarded intensive workshops for real estate Syndicators. His Ultimate Crowdfunding Workshops teach investors how to structure their investment companies, split money with investors and legally solicit investors for private and Crowdfunding offerings.

He has written articles on Tenant-In-Common or “TIC” offerings (addressing 1031 exchanges), and on starting and running a real estate syndication company.

Gene earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Minnesota and his Juris Doctorate from Western State College of Law. He took up running in 2009, and routinely competes in half marathons.

Gene's pioneering spirit and dedication continue to shape the landscape of professional development and legal services, leaving a lasting impact on those he serves.
