Alan Brickley is retired Counsel, First American Title Company. He has been involved in the title insurance and real estate legal industry for over 60 years beginning as a poster/locater in Oregon City. He is currently practicing law, including expert witness in various litigation.
Alan is an adjunct professor at Portland State University and has taught at Clackamas Community College, Marylhurst University, Northwestern College of Law at Lewis and Clark College, and Willamette University. He is a respected presenter at the Oregon State Bar, where he was chosen Outstanding Member 2015.
In addition to being an author and lecturer, he has been involved in civic affairs as the Mayor of West Linn, Board of Directors of Portland Baroque Orchestra, and a docent at the Portland Art Museum.
